The Spyderco Para 3 is the younger brother to the Para Military PM2 (PM2). This special version features CruWear and brown Micarta, known as the "CruCarta" edition. This sort of old school tool steel and natural handle material scheme was inspired by the Z-Wear and Micarta sprint run of the Shaman that was produced a few years ago. Since then this configuration has spawned variants of numerous models, including the Manix, PM2, and more recently the Military 2 along with the Para 3.
