Story

Longer and leaner than its first-generation predecessors, the Enuff™ 2 sets a new standard in compact fixed-blade performance. This expression of it supercharges the design by rendering it with Böhler-Uddeholm’s K390 MICROCLEAN®, a state-of-the-art particle metallurgy tool steel. Developed to withstand the rigors of the most demanding industrial applications, K390 offers exceptional sharpness, edge retention, and toughness when used in knife blades. The full-flat-ground blade of the Enuff 2 takes full advantage of these qualities to deliver outstanding cutting performance. Its skeletonized full tang supports tough fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) scales injection molded in the distinctive blue color of Spyderco's K390 family of knives. The scales feature a high-traction Bi-Directional Texture™ pattern for a secure grip and include a generously sized lanyard hole for the easy attachment of lanyards and safety lines. To ensure ease of carry and immediate access, the Enuff 2 includes an injection-molded polymer sheath that provides both snap-fit retention and a secondary leather retaining strap. The sheath also includes a G-Clip™ mount for fully configurable belt and inside-the-waistband carry.

Notes

I'm mostly a folder guy, but I've always liked the idea of a EDC fixed blade. There are definitely benefits - quicker to draw, far easier to clean, more robust (Full Tang design), and debatably a better value than a comparable folder. Also, K390 fixed blades are nearly unheard of for production models, so I think this is fills a great niche in the ecosystem of knives. Plus, it got a $22.50 price drop for 2025, making it an even more compelling package!

I never really liked the Enuff 1 since it was just too short for me, but I think the Enuff 2 is actually enough. The ~4" blade length & 3mm blade stock feels just right and the ergos are just as good as you'd come to expect from Spyderco (Sal's designs specifically).

The sheath is also pretty good - while it doesn't come with a chain to be used as a neck knife, there are still convenient mounting holes for your own necklace if you want to use it that way. The G-Clip is also great because unlike most mounting systems, it actually is a clip so you don't even need a belt to put it on. Instead, you just slide it onto whatever strap or pocket or the top of your pants that you prefer. It's also easy to reposition as desired, or removed entirely. The G-Clip is also often interoperable with other brands' sheaths and can be purchased separately if you like it as much as I do.

Currently, we're only stocking the K390 plain edged version, but it also exists in K390 Serrated and VG-10 Plain or Serrated. If you want one of those, shoot me a message and I'd be happy to get one sent your way!
