Ideal for a wide range of kitchen cutting chores, Spyderco’s handy 6.5-Inch Utility Knife’s MBS-26 stainless steel blade is ground extremely thin and expertly heat treated for exceptional edge retention. Its durable polypropylene handle is injection molded directly onto the blade’s tang and has a distinctive “stepped” texture pattern for a secure grip. The K04 is available in a PlainEdge™ configuration with a black handle and a SpyderEdge™ format with a choice of black or blue handle. SpyderEdge blades feature a unique two-step serration pattern that protects the edge from dulling on cutting boards. 

Notes

I believe the Spyderco kitchen classics series are still OEM'd by Masahiro in Seki City. I forgot where I heard this from, but I recall hearing/reading that Masahiro is next door to one of the Spyderco folder OEMs, so you can sometimes see Masahiro branded knives with an authentic SpyderEdge serration pattern. Pretty cool!
