Our Factory Seconds collection features fully functional, premium knives that exhibit minor cosmetic variations or non-critical deviations from standard production.

Each knife undergoes rigorous inspection to ensure it meets safety and performance requirements while offering significant savings.

These knives deliver the same reliable performance and functionality as their primary production counterparts, but may have imperfections such as: lock stick, minor cosmetic blemishes on blade or handle, uneven bevels, slightly inconsistent grind, engraving errors, or slightly tight actions.

However, on several of these knives, the reasoning behind why it was marked as a "second" is nearly imperceptible, especially when compared to normal factory "first" units.

Each Factory Second is clearly identified and priced to reflect its condition, offering collectors and users an opportunity to acquire premium, high performance tools at an incredible value.

Please note, factory second units are not eligible for Spyderco's limited lifetime warranty outside of their complimentary sharpening service.
